Aslı Gültekin

Zeynep Aslı Gültekin was born in 1982 in İzmir. She started her cello education in 1994 at Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory, as a student of İzzet Nazlıaka.

During her studies, she took part in masterclasses such professors as Alexander Rudin, David Geringas, Phillippe Muller, Marina Tarasova, Denis Parker, Prof. Doğan Cangal and Nuray Eşen.She graduated from Hacettepe University in 2004 and started to work at Ankara State Opera Ballet Orchestra in the same year. In 2008, she started to work at Orchestra Academic Başkent and in 2010, she played Astor Piazzola's tangos as a soloist with Orchestra Academic Başkent. In 2015, she won the "Chamber Music Group of the Year" award with the Allegra Ensemble chamber music group at the ‘Mavi Nota’ music awards.

She received her master's degree of Ankara University State Conservatory in 2016 and at Hacettepe University State Conservatory in 2022

She has participated in concerts of Presidential Symphony Orchestra, Hacettepe University Symphony Orchestra, Bilkent University Symphony Orchestra, Capital Chamber Orchestra, Ankara Youth Symphony Orchestra, Bursa State Symphony Orchestra, Antalya State Symphony Orchestra, with many important conductors and soloists.
