Damla Çaylı Güngör

Damla Çaylı Güngör, graduated with high honors from Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory in 2011, where she started her cello education with associate Nuray Eşen in 2001. Following her graduation, in 2012 she was accepted for a masters progam in the same instutution and got her masters degree with associate Ş.İzzet Nazlıaka. During her education, she took part in many local and international concerts with the likes of Presidential Symphony Orchestra, Bilkent Symphony Orchestra, H.U. Symphony Orchestra, Antalya State Symphony Orchestra, Türksoy Chamber Orchestra, Turkish-Greek Youth Symphony Orchestra, Ankara Youth Symphony Orchestra. She also had the chance of attending master classes of world famous cello artists like Christoph Richter, Julian Steckel, Jean-Guihen Queyras, Raphael Wallfisch, Maria Klengel and Laszio Fenyo. She played with Bilkent Youth Symphony Orchestra in 2014 Beethovenfest Bonn and also was a part of the String Quartet for the recital in Deutsche Welle Hall. Following her success in the audition with the Orchestra Academic Başkent in 2019, she was appointed as cello artist in the same orchestra. While she is still with the Orchestra Academic Başkent, she is also continueing to take part with many orchestras, chamber music and solo concerts all over the world
