Dirimcan Ceseroğlu

Dirimcan Ceseroglu was born in 1991 in Mersin, Turkey. She started her music lessons with the piano at age six. In 1998, she started her violin education in Mersin University State Conservatory with Ebru Yunkus. In 1999, she continued her education in the Preparatory School of Faculty of Music and Performing Arts of Bilkent University in Ankara, where she studied with Süreyya Defne, Vseslava Kudinova, Muhammedjan Turdiyev and Bahar Kutay. She performed in many school recitals, and participated in masterclasses that she worked with Dima Tkachenko, Sayaka Shoji, Jerrold Rubenstein, Daniel Rubenstein and Guy Braunstein.

Between 2008-2018 she performed in several orchestras which are the Turkish-Greek Youth Orchestra, Bilkent Youth Orchestra, National Youth Orchestra, Bilkent Symphony Orchestra, Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra, Cukurova State Symphony Orchestra, Bursa State Symphony Orchestra. As a member of the mentioned orchestras she worked with conductors like Vladimir Ashkenazy, Gürer Aykal, Orhun Orhon, Antonio Pirolli, Adrian Prabava and İbrahim Yazıcı. In 2017, she made it to the finals at the Faruk Erengul Music Competetion and won the Jury Special Prize.

Ceseroglu gratuated from Bilkent University in 2014. She completed her master’s degree with Bahar Biricik at Istanbul University State Conservatory. Between 2017-2019 she was a member of the Bursa State Symphony Orchestra and since 2019 she is a member of the Orchestra Academic Baskent.
