Gönenç Sazer

Gönenç Sazer was born in Gölcük in 1979. She started her violin education in 1992 at Bilkent University Faculty of Music and Performing Arts music preparatory school with Leda Cenaz on a scholarship. She gave many recitals and concerts during her education. She participated in the national and international concerts of the Bilkent Youth Symphony Orchestra and performed Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto with the orchestra. She was entitled to participate in the International Mediterranean Youth Orchestra four times and participated in tours in France, Italy, Morocco and Spain. She took part in the Bayreuth Music Festival Youth Orchestra in Germany. The artist, who has been working with Toğrul Ganiev since her high school years, attended various master classes in Turkey and abroad. After completing her undergraduate education in 2002, she started her graduate studies at Bilkent University Music Institute. During this period, she had the opportunity to work with Turkish and foreign conductors and soloists by taking part in many concerts of the Bilkent Symphony Orchestra. In 2005, she started her Proficiency in Art studies at Bilkent University Music Institute. Gönenç Sazer, who took part in many orchestras such as the Bilkent Symphony Orchestra, the Presidential Symphony Orchestra, and the Tekfen Philharmonic Orchestra, has been a member of the Baskent University Academic Orchestra since November 2003.
