Taşkın Sözen

Born on 1984 in Ankara, Sözen started his cello education at the age of 10 under the supervision of Izzet Nazliaka in Hacettepe University State Academy of Music. During his education he attended the workshops organized by Alexander Rudin and Alexander Markov as an active member. He performed in chamber music concerts and also gave solo performances. Sözen had the chance to work with respected conductors Hacettepe Academic Symphony Orchestra, CSO and youth orchestras. He has been member of the Orchestra Akademik Başkent since 2008.
